COURSE DESCRIPTION
This program is intended to introduce you to the basic elements of fire extinguisher use in case of fire in the workplace and techniques of fire preparedness. Each year fire takes a tremendous toll in industrial America. Fire kills, injures and disables people, destroys property, and causes the loss of jobs. Property loss each year is in the billions of dollars. Portable fire extinguishers are often the first line of defense against fire in the workplace. Many times during the early stages of a fire, it can be controlled by using an appropriate portable fire extinguisher.
