Spill Response Awareness

COURSE DESCRIPTION
In this presentation, we will discuss how the employees should respond to spills of hazardous chemicals in the workplace. Employees must have a basic knowledge of what to do and what not to do when encountering a spill of hazardous chemicals. This course will focus on the recognition of hazards associated with chemical releases and the initial steps to be taken to mitigate the release of the material and assist in the protection of people, the environment and facilities. This course is designed to increase your awareness level and provide information based on a defensive response to these situations and the steps you may be able to safely take to quickly respond to a chemical spill.
