This program is intended as an overview of the basic elements of an effective hearing conservation program which includes periodic monitoring and the methods of selection, use, and care of hearing protection. Today, more than 22 million Americans are exposed to hazardous noise on and off the job. An effective hearing conservation program is designed to prevent hearing loss. Be sure to do your part and wear the appropriate hearing protection to protect your ability to hear for a lifetime.
